School Groups

Bring your students to Mackinaw’s Heritage Village. We offer half- and
full-day visits during which we interpret our facilities, which include an
original one-room school, Mackinaw City’s original pestilence house,
a covered eating area, an 1880s church, and a historic farm in the
early stages of restoration.

Our buildings are heated with wood-burning stoves and we have modern
outhouses. Electricity can be provided and we have a well.

Cost for either program is $5 per student; chaperones visit free.
Fifty percent of the cost must be submitted with the application.
