Mackinaw City, MI – May 3, 2025 – The Mackinaw Area Historical Society (MAHS) is thrilled to announce the inaugural Historic Tractor Days, a brand-new event celebrating vintage farming equipment, education, and hands-on fun for all ages. This free, family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Heritage Village, located at 1425 West Central Avenue in Mackinaw City.

Visitors can look forward to an interactive experience where they’ll get up close with historic tractors, take photos, and even sit on some of these classic machines. Tractor owners will be on hand to share stories and insights about their equipment, making this a learning opportunity as well as a celebration of agricultural history. The day will also feature live music from 11 to 3 p.m., adding to the festive atmosphere in the Village.

“We're proud to launch Historic Tractor Days as part of our continued mission to create enriching, educational events that bring people together,” said Angie Morthland, President of MAHS. “This event represents our commitment to preserving history in fun and engaging ways—and best of all, it’s free to the public.”

Justin Barta, MAHS Board Director and Event Coordinator, adds, “Whether you're a tractor enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for something fun to do with the family, this day offers something for everyone. We’re excited to create a space where stories of the past come to life through the machines that helped shape our region.”

Historic Tractor Days joins a growing roster of unique events hosted by MAHS, all designed to make history accessible, educational, and fun. Don’t miss your chance to explore the charm of Heritage Village while learning about the machinery that powered the past.
